Westgate Neighbors Association is proud to present Westgate Wags and Whiskers. Save the date and get ready to leash up, Columbus! All proceeds from our Red Rover Rrrraffle will go to pet and animal charities.
Westgate Wags and Whiskers promises the ultimate dog (& cat) day of summer!
This FREE event is open to all pets and their well-behaved humans in and around the city. You must keep your human leashed and under control at all times!
Here’s what you can expect:
- Pet-centered artisans, businesses and services
- Contests and Activities for pets & their humans
- Pet Rescues
Super Sidekick Pet Pageant:
A new feature this year will be our very first pet pageant. So, if you’re bringing a pet, they are eligible to enter and win (and look a little kooky in the crown and cape that will designate Westgate’s first “Super Sidekick”)! Costumes are encouraged, but not required. Sign-up begins at noon, and remember … it’s not a beauty pageant. Any “body” that slithers, swims, flies, bounds or creeps onto the pageant stage can be a winner!
Red Rover Rrrraffle:
Our gift basket raffle is over the top this year! There are too many things to name individually – you just have to see them to believe it! Thank you to our vendors that donated the goods, treats, and services that stuff our baskets. A special thank you Lori Crabtree, Realtor, with Modern Ohio Realty for donating funds to purchase the basket supplies.
Tickets are 1 for $3, 4 for $10 and 10 for $20.
Drawings begin at 3:30 p.m. You do not need to be present to win — but you need to be onsite to select which baskets you want to be in the running for — you get to choose!
