Letter B Dedication & Ribbon Cutting

September 19, 2015

Westgate Park

When Westland Mall was enclosed in 1982 the large concrete A, B & C letters were moved to Westgate Park. Sometime in the 90s the letter B was destroyed by a runaway car. Since then things just didn’t seem complete. So a couple of years ago the Westgate Neighbors Association decided it was time to make things whole again because you can’t spell Westgate Park without a “B”. Well, okay well maybe you can….but you can’t spell Columbus without a “B”!

It took nearly two years of cutting through red tape and design work to return her to her place of honor. We welcomed her to the park during a dedication and ribbon cutting in September 2015.
